Overseas Study Tour

From March 28th to April 12th 2008, an ESIA project delegation composing of the delegates from MOA, DOA and CPMO visited more than 10 institutions during the 15 days' stay in Germany.

The study tour was focused mainly on governmental administration of integrated agricultural production, scientific research and extension services of environmental friendly technologies and agricultural product trading system, which has been highly appraised by the members of the delegation German Study Tour Report.

Domestic Study Tour

In light of the study tour plan made by the Sino-German Project Office, a mission including the PPMO, CPMO, the leader of the farmer cooperatives and the excellent demonstration farmers from each pilot county investigated carefully, while adopting a humble attitude to know and learn from Shouguang, on the China (Shouguang) Vegetable Science and Technology Fair, Shouguang Liaoyuan Vegetable Specialized Cooperative, the tomatoes, cucumbers, and sweet peppers greenhouses managed by farmers, Shouguang Vegetable Wholesale Market, Shouguang Agricultural Material Wholesale Market, Seed Wholesale Market, etc., from 27 April to 29 April.

The mission also studied some materials offered by Shouguang, and then held a symposium to discuss the gains from the investigation and the plan for the future The report on the Study Tour to Shouguang.
